The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the Public Relations Wing of the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) today held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony, marking a significant step in their joint efforts to promote the whole-person development of young people in Hong Kong. Through a concrete collaborative initiative, the two parties will work together to foster positive values and diverse competencies among youth, contributing further constructive energy to the community.

The ceremony commenced amid warm applause from attending guests. In Professor Yeung’s welcoming remarks, she emphasised EdUHK’s commitment to translating academic research into community practice with a view to strengthening values education. She noted that the MoU establishes a collaborative research platform for the “V12+ Training Camp”. Leveraging the University’s expertise in research and evaluation, EdUHK will draw on data and participant feedback to provide evidence-based analyses and recommendations, further supporting the cultivation of students’ law-abiding awareness and civic literacy.

Mr Chan remarked that nurturing young people’s correct values, resilience, and self-discipline in observing the law requires concerted efforts across the wider community.
